Coplin Health Systems Names Scott Price as Chief Pharmacy Officer
PARKERSBURG, WV (January 27, 2025) – Coplin Health Systems is pleased to announce the promotion of Pharmacy Director Scott Price, PharmD, to Chief Pharmacy Officer.
“I am excited to expand my leadership role in the organization, while also maintaining the ability to work in the pharmacy and to connect with our patients,” Price said.

As Chief Pharmacy Officer, Price will oversee all facets of pharmacy operations, including ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications and spearheading initiatives with a dedicated emphasis on maximizing the impact of Coplin’s 340b programming, navigating the legislative landscape, and capturing greater revenue through strategic initiatives within the pharmacy department.
“A goal I have in my new role is to optimize the pharmacy program at Coplin,” Price said. “I want to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use while prioritizing patient care.”
A graduate of Ravenswood High School and West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, Price has been with Coplin since 2006. Before accepting his new role, Price served as Coplin’s Pharmacy Director.
