Coplin Health Systems Names Jason Poling as Chief Information Officer
PARKERSBURG, WV (October 30, 2024) – Coplin Health Systems is pleased to announce the promotion of Informatics Director, Jason Poling, MBA, BS, BA, MLS, to Chief Information Officer.
“I am excited about the opportunity,” Poling said. “The Chief Information Officer’s role is pivotal in ensuring that technological initiatives align seamlessly with Coplin’s mission.”
As Chief Information Officer, Poling will oversee the organization’s information technology operations, ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions to enhance patient care, optimize efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives forward.
“I aim to enhance patient care and improve overall efficiency,” Poling said. “I look forward to collaborating with various departments to integrate data insights into our strategic planning and daily operations, ultimately driving innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery.”
With over fifteen years of healthcare experience, Poling has served as the organization’s Director of Informatics since 2019, and as a Health Informatics Specialist before that since 2018. Poling holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry and a B.S. degree in Biology from Glenville State University and earned his M.B.A. from University of the People. He also holds a Medical Laboratory Scientist license.
Rob Dudley, CEO of Coplin Health Systems, said that Poling’s experience and leadership in informatics and technology made him the ideal candidate to lead the organization’s digital transformation efforts.
